Awards

The New Zealand Post Children's Book Awards recognise the best books for children and teenagers published annually in New Zealand.

The finalist books for 2012 have been chosen; the winners will be announced in a ceremony in Wellington on Wednesday, 16 May 2012.

The New Zealand Post Book Awards celebrate excellence, identifying the very best books written by New Zealanders.

The finalists in the 2012 awards will be announced on the morning of Wednesday, 6 June 2012.
