Background
The New Zealand Post Book Awards promote excellence in, and provide recognition for, the best books published annually in New Zealand. The principal sponsors of the Awards are New Zealand Post and Creative New Zealand.
The Awards are supported by the New Zealand Society of Authors and Book Tokens (NZ) Ltd. The Awards are administered by Booksellers New Zealand on behalf of the Book Awards Governance Group.
